What this means in practice
Central Jerusalem sits inside a prohibited area (LLP13) — a circle of about 6 km radius around the city centre, from ground level up to 4000 ft. Within it, drone flight is not permitted, except for aircraft taking off from an airport operated by the Airports Authority, or with special security approval from the aviation security operations centre. Over the Temple Mount an even stricter prohibited area applies (LLP11), and where they overlap the stricter rule governs. Since almost the whole city is inside the circle, a point-specific check matters mainly at the edges.
